This is because the name of a black key is very similar to the white key — the only difference is that a “#” is added to the note. The names of the black keys notes are like this: C# D# F# G# A#.

And if you want to know the name of any black key, just look at the white key right before it and then add a “#” to that note. In this way, you can remember all the black keys easily.

So like this, you can learn the names of all the keys and start reading piano notes properly.
